SprayScape

This study addresses the main challenges faced by graffiti artists, such as strict legal frameworks, divergent public perceptions, and a lack of sanctioned creative spaces. These challenges hinder the transition of graffiti from underground expression to recognized urban art form. We introduce SprayScape, a digital platform leveraging spatial computing and augmented reality to bridge graffiti artists with local communities and authorities. The platform is envisioned to facilitate the exchange of ideas and spaces, fostering partnerships that can transform urban landscapes into celebrated art canvases, while respecting community standards and enhancing the visual appeal of city environments.
